What to expect during your
internet installation

Your Bluepeak order has been received, and we can’t wait to get you connected. Let’s go over a few important details to ensure a smooth installation.

1. Pre-Installation Confirmation

Before your scheduled appointment, you’ll receive a confirmation email and text message to confirm your installation date and time. Without confirmation we may remove your installation from our schedule.

 

2. Preparing for your Installation

Please prepare the following before the technician’s arrival:

  • List of Devices: Provide a list of devices that need to be connected to your new Bluepeak Wi-Fi. This includes, but is not limited to, security cameras, printers, and alarm panels. Ensuring all devices are accounted for will help us avoid any oversight.
  • Download the eero mobile app: If your order includes an eero router, you can manage your home Wi-Fi network from your smartphone. Upon opening the eero mobile app, you will be prompted to create an eero account through a guided setup process.

  • If you are subscribing to Bluepeak TV, you will also need to:

Important Reminders:

  • The technician will be doing work inside and outside of your home
  • If you have pets, please make sure they are contained to ensure their safety and minimize disruptions.
  • Someone 18 years or older must be present during the installation.
  • Additionally, please move any furniture or obstacles that may be in the way of the installation area, as our technicians are not responsible for moving furniture.

 

3. Installation Overview:

Before arriving, your Bluepeak technician will call you to provide an estimated arrival time. Upon arrival, the technician will review the services to be installed, discuss the work needed both inside and outside your home, and determine the best entry points for installation.

The entire installation process typically takes about 2 hours and includes:

  • Performing a Wi-Fi analysis to find the optimal location for the Wi-Fi Gateway.
  • Evaluating the need for any Wi-Fi extenders to ensure complete coverage.
  • Testing all services to make sure they meet your expectations.

Optimizing Your Experience

At Bluepeak we partner with eero to provide a seamless Wi-Fi experience. The eero system offers:

Whole Home Wi-Fi Coverage: Ensure strong, reliable Wi-Fi throughout your home.

  • Your technician may recommend that you add additional eero devices to amplify your signal, allowing you to enjoy reliable connectivity even in hard-to-reach places.

eero App: Manage your Wi-Fi network directly from your smartphone. The app allows you to change your Wi-Fi name, password, and more.

  • For additional security, subscribe to eero Plus. This premium service allows you to access your home network remotely using an external IP address, protect your devices from malicious software, keep data safe while on public Wi-Fi, and safely store and share unique passwords in one central location. 4. Walkthrough of Your Service

After installation, your technician will walk you through the setup. They’ll show you how to connect your devices, troubleshoot common issues, and customize your network settings. You’ll also receive helpful tips to enhance your internet experience.

 

5. Ongoing Support

Your experience doesn’t end with installation. Our dedicated customer support team is available to assist with any questions or issues that may arise. Whether you need technical support or want to explore upgrading your service, we’re here for you. Simply text us at

Your first statement

Your first statement will arrive within 30 days after your installation. This statement will include any applicable charges for setup, installation, and your first month of service.

This statement will also provide an overview of how to read your billing statements. To view and securely pay your bills online, set up your account at mybluepeak.com/pay-your-bill using the account number found on your statement.

How to redeem your streaming credit

For customers who signed up for our 5 Gig residential internet service, you’ll enjoy a $10 complimentary streaming credit each month for your first year. Here’s how to redeem it:

  • Look for an Email: Within three weeks of your installation date, you’ll receive an email from Bluepeak@mybundle.tv.
  • Follow the Link: Click the link in the email to create an account using the email address associated with your Bluepeak account.
  • Activate your credit: Activate your digital streaming credit card to pay for any streaming service you choose, whether it’s a new service or one you already use.
