(ENID, Okla.) – Oct. 12, 2022Robert Johnson remembered entering Bluepeak‘s Streamin’ Summer Sweepstakes, but the Enid, Okla., resident was suspicious when he recently got an email saying he won.

“To be honest, at first I thought this has to be a fake email,” he laughed.

After calling and confirming his name had indeed been drawn to receive 12 months of free one gigabit-per-second (Gbps) internet service from Bluepeak, Johnson shared the good news with his wife, Donna.

“I told my wife you’re not going to believe this, but we won,” Johnson recalled. “She was totally stoked. We both were.”

The two snagged the fiber internet package, valued at $1,000, after switching to Bluepeak in April. Robert said they “jumped on it” as soon as service was available in Enid, because of a history of unreliable, slow internet from other providers in the area. Robert, who works with flight simulators at Vance Air Force Base, was so excited to get Bluepeak that he convinced his neighbors on either side of him to hook up as well.

“I told them the difference is going to be huge and it was,” Johnson confirmed. “They came back and told me that they’ve been telling people too.”

With word spreading throughout Enid, Robert mentioned he will “no doubt” continue to preach the advantages of Bluepeak. He’s found the service to be faster and more reliable for use during extensive gaming and streaming. He even mentioned Bluepeak’s customer service is better than the competition’s.

“I have to say I love the customer service,” he said. “I’ve only had to call once, but they’ve been nothing but nice. They were really helpful and checked everything and it happened exactly how they said it would.”

In addition to Enid, Bluepeak has dramatically improved internet options in other new Sooner State communities, like Perry, Bartlesville, Stillwater, and more. Interested Oklahomans can confirm service availability with their address at mybluepeak.com.
