Sioux Falls has Greater Access to Fiber Internet as Bluepeak Completes More Construction

(SIOUX FALLS, S.D.) Feb. 14, 2023 – Bluepeak has completed more construction to expand its fiber internet network to a new area of Sioux Falls, S.D.

Homes and businesses on the northeast side of Sioux Falls – in the area south of All Saints around McKennan Park – can now access Bluepeak’s fiber internet service. Those interested in signing up for fiber internet service – with packages including 1 to 5 gigabits-per-second (Gbps) for homes and 10 Gbps and beyond for business – can check service availability at their address on mybluepeak.com.

The completion of construction work in the area is a key benchmark on the path to Bluepeak’s goal of building fiber more Sioux Falls homes and businesses with a $60 million investment in the city. Bluepeak began new fiber construction for Sioux Falls in 2021.

Bluepeak’s service area in Sioux Falls – which consists of fiber optic and coaxial cable lines – covers much of the city south of Interstate 229, including much of the neighborhoods of Emerald Acres, Tomar, W Ralph Rogers, Explorer, Meadow Ridge, Platinum Ridge, Cinnamon Ridge, Parkwood Estates, Heather Ridge, Auburn Hills – Rose Crest, Prairie Hills, Prairie Hills West, Prairie Vista Estates, Prairie Tree, Whispering Ridge, and S Yarrow Trail. With the recent construction progress, Bluepeak service now reaches the area around McKennan Park and south to Interstate 229 and the Crestwood/Tuthill neighborhood south of the Interstate.
