Rapid City Veteran Casper Wins Holiday Gift of Free Internet From Bluepeak

Fiber internet provider honoring those who served.

(RAPID CITY, S.D) – Dec. 12, 2022 – Bill Casper is an Air Force veteran and Rapid City native. Casper served with the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War as an Automatic Tracking Radar Specialist with the 11th Radar Bomb Scoring Squadron under the Strategic Air Command.

During his time in service, from 1959 through 1963, Casper was recognized with the Air Force Good Conduct Medal awarded to Air Force enlisted personnel for exemplary conduct during a three-year period of active military service. Casper recalls the best part of his service being the men he served with. He credits his time in the Air force with helping him “grow up,” and “take responsibility for myself.”

This month, Casper was awarded a month of free internet service from Bluepeak, his internet service provider, as a gesture of recognition for his service to our nation. In November, Bluepeak launched their “Service-for-Your-Service Sweepstakes” for veterans, in recognition of National Veteran and Military Families Month. The Sweepstakes offered a chance to win a month of free internet service to eligible veterans and Casper was one of four Bluepeak customers selected.
