Fiber Internet Provider Offers Multi-Gigabit Speeds to Residences and Businesses at Affordable Rates

(ALTUS, Okla.) May 31, 2023Bluepeak has completed more construction to expand its fiber internet network to new areas of Altus, Okla.

More than 850 additional homes and businesses on the west side of Altus – the section of town north of A Street between the train tracks and Forrest Street and the section north of Broadway Street between Main Street and Navajoe Street – can now access Bluepeak’s fiber internet service. Those interested in signing up for fiber internet service – with packages from 1 to 5 gigabits-per-second (Gbps) for homes and 10 Gbps and beyond for business – can check service availability with their address on mybluepeak.com.

Bluepeak has added more than 2,350 Altus homes and businesses to its service area over the last three months and is well on its way to reaching the company’s goal of building fiber to 9,000 total homes and businesses in the city with its $9 million investment in Altus.

Thus far, Bluepeak’s service area in Altus covers most of the north and west sections of the city, including much of the neighborhoods of Bradford Avenue, Indian Hills, Terra Rica, Peacock Lane, Heritage Estates, North Ridge Boulevard, Gettysburg, Hunter Pointe, Ward II and more.

The Altus community has welcomed Bluepeak with open arms. Altus resident Mike Podoll and his family rejoiced when they connected to the fiber internet company last October. In fact, Bluepeak now has nearly 800 subscribers in Altus since launching service in the city, making it one of the company’s fastest growing markets.

Bluepeak’s next construction goals include the remaining section of town north of Broadway Street between the train tracks and Altus High School. For more information and to sign up for the latest Bluepeak updates in Altus, visit mybluepeak.com.
