Stillwater has Greater Access to Fiber Internet as Bluepeak Completes More Construction

(STILLWATER, Okla.) July 10, 2023 – Bluepeak has completed more construction to expand its fiber internet network to a new area of Stillwater.

More than 500 additional homes and businesses in central Stillwater – in the Southern Stillwater neighborhood south of State Highway 51 – can now access Bluepeak’s fiber internet service. Those interested in signing up for fiber internet service – with packages including 1 to 5 gigabits-per-second (Gbps) for homes and 10 Gbps and beyond for business – can check service availability at their address on mybluepeak.com.

The completion of construction work in the area is a key benchmark on the path to Bluepeak’s goal of building fiber to 23,000 homes and businesses with their $23 million investment in Stillwater.

Thus far, Bluepeak’s service area in Stillwater covers much of the southwest part of the city, including much of the neighborhoods of Southern Stillwater, Lowry, Westwood, Country Club Drive, Boulder Creek/Hidden Oaks, Crosswinds/Pecan Hill, West Park, Tradan Heights, West Stillwater, Westbrook, 19^th & Sangre, Berry Creek, Surrey Hills, Copperfield, Sangre Ridge, Saddle Rock/Saddle Rock South, Woodland Trails and Brighton.

The Stillwater community has welcomed Bluepeak with open arms. In fact, Bluepeak recently surpassed the 10,000 customer mark for all of Oklahoma when they connected Kent and Lydia Taylor of West Stillwater. In addition, the company is also an official partner of Oklahoma State Athletics and this year secured a NIL partnership with Cowgirl softball.
