Bluepeak's 1,000th Altus Subscriber Upgrading her Speeds
Krystal Woodall, pictured with her two boys and Field Operations Manager Dupree Walker, became Bluepeak’s 1,000th subscriber in Altus, Oklahoma, on Wednesday, May 31, 2023.
(ALTUS, Okla.) June 5, 2023 – Krystal Woodall had the kind of internet problem you can’t ignore. She was constantly hearing about it from her two young boys when they would try playing video games online.
“I hear a lot of ‘I’m lagging, mom,’ and that’s most all the time,” she said with a laugh. “If I could get that to stop echoing in my house, that will be so much better.”
Woodall’s boys got their way when she made the switch to Bluepeak recently. On Wednesday, May 31, she became the 1,000th Bluepeak subscriber in Altus, Oklahoma. As a gesture of appreciation, Bluepeak presented her with a gift basket containing swag and goodies from local businesses.
Woodall cited faster speeds than her previous internet service provider and less lagging on all their home’s smart devices as her reasons for switching to Bluepeak. Altus’ newest fiber internet provider launched service here last August and has pledged to invest $9 million to bring high-speed internet to the community.
“It’s always better to have options, especially if the internet is going to be faster than the one we’ve had,” she said. “Why not try something new that might be better for us?”
She also pointed to the friendly customer service she experienced as another reason why Altus has welcomed a new provider like Bluepeak.
“If you have good customer service like that and fast internet, I’m pretty sure you are going to get a lot more people,” she said.
Thus far, Bluepeak’s service area in Altus covers most of the north and west sections of the city, including much of the neighborhoods of Bradford Avenue, Indian Hills, Terra Rica, Peacock Lane, Heritage Estates, North Ridge Boulevard, Gettysburg, Hunter Pointe, Ward II and more.
