Bluepeak Rapidly Reaches 100 Subscribers in Laramie

Justin Keller, 100th subscriber in Laramie, Wyo.

(LARAMIE, Wyo.) April 17, 2023 – After launching service in Laramie just over three weeks ago, Bluepeak has already surpassed 100 subscribers in the Wyoming community. The fiber internet provider has pledged to invest $13 million to bring its high-speed network to nearly 13,000 homes and businesses in Laramie.

Justin Keller, a resident of the city for more than 20 years and owner of a local landscaping business, was the 100th to connect to Bluepeak service. As a gesture of appreciation, Bluepeak presented him with a gift basket containing swag and goodies from local Laramie favorites Coal Creek Coffee, Sugar Mouse Cupcake House, Wyoming Rib & Chop House, The Lodge, Murdoch’s and the Brown N’ Gold Outlet.

Keller said Bluepeak’s “lightning-fast” fiber speed prompted his switch. Gaming with his two boys and streaming with his wife are his first plans after connecting to Bluepeak.

Bluepeak’s service area in Laramie currently includes neighborhoods north of Harney Street and Grays Gable Road between 15th Street and Inca Drive and the area north of Downey Street between Ninth and 15th streets. Those interested in signing up for fiber internet service – with packages from 1 to 5 gigabits-per-second (Gbps) for homes and 10 Gbps and beyond for business – can check service availability with their address on mybluepeak.com.
