Bluepeak Celebrates Milestones in Altus and Enid, Reaching 20,000 Customers Across Oklahoma

(DENVER) — September 9, 2024 — Bluepeak, a leading provider of high-speed fiber internet, has reached a significant milestone in Oklahoma, surpassing 20,000 customers statewide. This achievement was highlighted in the cities of Altus and Enid, where the company celebrated connecting its 2,500th and 5,000th customers, respectively.

To celebrate, Bluepeak presented local gift baskets to milestone customers Brooke Hranek of Altus and Martin Malloy of Enid. The gift baskets were filled with treats from local businesses as a part of Bluepeak’s commitment to support their local communities.

Our 5,000th Enid customer, Martin, lives with his wife, Nancy, and their new rescue dog, Honey. They were connected in July to Bluepeak’s 1-Gig internet service, and theirs is a streaming household. “With the service we had before, we would frequently get a message from Netflix telling us we didn’t have enough bandwidth to stream our show,” said Martin. “We chose Bluepeak for the speed and haven’t had any problems streaming. It has worked great, plus the tech was friendly and attentive.”

“Celebrating 2,500 customers in Altus and 5,000 in Enid underscores the growing demand for high-speed internet in these areas,” said Bluepeak Chief Commercial Officer, Lana Frank. “Our progress in these communities is part of our mission to close the digital divide across Oklahoma by providing fast, reliable, and affordable fiber-optic internet.”

In Altus, Bluepeak has expanded its fiber-optic network to nearly 2,000 additional homes this year. Meanwhile, recent construction in Enid has provided 5,700 more homes and businesses access to Bluepeak’s services.

Beyond numbers, this connectivity means better access to education, healthcare, and business opportunities for residents. Feedback from the communities of Altus and Enid has been overwhelmingly positive, with many noting significant improvements in internet speed and reliability.

“Reaching 20,000 customers across Oklahoma is a milestone we’re thrilled about. We’re dedicated to keeping this momentum going and ensuring even more residents and businesses get the reliable internet they deserve,” added Frank.

Since its launch, Bluepeak has rapidly expanded its services across Oklahoma, gaining significant momentum in cities like Stillwater, Lawton, Clinton, Bartlesville, Altus, Enid, and beyond. With their multimillion-dollar investment in the state, Bluepeak remains focused on expanding access and ensuring high-quality service, while keeping pace with Oklahomans’ growing demand for connectivity.
