Bluepeak Adds Two to Leadership Team

(DENVER, Colo.) – March 14, 2023 – Bluepeak has named Kevin Schenck the new Vice President of Market Expansion and Shawn Murray the new Vice President of Residential Sales.

Schenck joins the growing fiber internet provider with a career spanning over 30 years in domestic and international telecommunication network development. He was most recently Cox Communication’s Assistant Vice President of Commercial and Wireless Construction Program Management and previously held leadership positions with AT&T, Bechtel, Black & Veatch and Nortel Networks.

Schenck is known as a collaborative leader with a talent for building high-performing, cross-functional teams in construction, project management, engineering and market deployment. With Bluepeak, he will lead project management, design engineering and capital management for market expansion.

A graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in electrical engineering, Schenck lives north of Atlanta, Ga., with his wife, Sandy, and their twin 13-year-old boys, Nicolas and Zachary.

Murray brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Bluepeak with over 28 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and a track record of success. He was most recently Windstream’s Executive Vice President of Sales and previously held executive positions at Deltacom, Birch Telecom and EarthLink.

Murray has a demonstrated ability to lead teams, increase revenue and manage client retention initiatives. His attention to detail and effective management skills have been critical to his success. With Bluepeak, he will be responsible for driving growth and the success of the Residential Sales team.

A graduate of West Virginia University, Murray lives in Raleigh, N.C., with his wife, Cara, and five children, Kiley, 29, Michael, 27, Meghan, 25, Matthew, 10 and Joe, 5.
